Suffering for your art is certainly overratted. I don't think I suffer for my Art (if you exclude the mental issues); I tend to suffer through all the parts of my day that don't include Art. Once I get to the Art, the suffering is largely over. I do suffer with anything that can be prefixed with 'pop,' except for corn.

No pressure, just have a look ... Yes, yes there you go! Nice Art for all. Not as shiny as a big budget movie, but better for you. Feel that blood surging through the capillaries allowing for individual thought.

People keep pointing out my octopus obsession like it's abnormal. I don't understand that -- being fixated on dogs, now that's weird -- octopus' didn't stalk humans in packs and haunt the dreams of early humans! They don't make TV shows about training your out-of-control octopus. They don't need to.
See his largest work in the Beyond the Frame touring installation -- a touring puppet show and installation produced by the Art Gallery of St. Albert (details and touring schedule can be found at the gallery's web site: artgalleryofstalbert.ca). The installation is six mural sized panels that have delighted audiences throughout Alberta.

The alteration and expression of form is the key point of my work. The context of any form is as important as the form itself and has become a more important consideration to my work. I want to breathe life into everything I depict to allow it to stand as both a representation and as a unique creation. Exploring new supports is a continuing challenge that allows me to better frame my work in a manner more appropriate to the subject represented.

Information
Half an hour after this picture was taken I crashed the Vespa I had rented trying to get a better look at another acropolis outside of Napflio (Greece). I don't think I would drive if I lived in Europe: it's too easy to get distracted there. I loved the castles and churches that sit atop of almost every hill in Greece. It's like every city I've made in the building simulators I've played on my PC ... It's so surreal if you think about it, but it seems like such a normal thing to do to me.
